Report: GSK walks away from Serono bid
A British financial publication has reported that GlaxoSmithKline has walked away from a deal to buy Switzerland's Serono, sending Serono's shares down. GlaxoSmithKline axed the deal after Serono, Europe's biggest biotech company, refused to accept an $11 billion offer. Serono had been scouting for a bid of $15 billion.
