OpGen to hire 70 in new Maryland quarters

Madison, WI-based OpGen, which has developed new technology to map a microorganism's genome, is moving to Montgomery County in Maryland and plans to swiftly ramp up operations with new hires. After leaving an incubator in Madison, the company will hire 10 new workers in Maryland and plans to reach 70 workers in a year. OpGen has taken a 15,000-square-foot site in Gaithersburg, long the center of genomics research.
