New trial data adds support for Entereg
Shares of Exton, PA-based Adolor soared on positive data from a pivotal trial for Entereg, a drug in development with GlaxoSmithKline to speed gastrointestinal recovery following surgery. Entereg had been the subject of an FDA "approvable" letter last July, though the agency had requested more data on the drug before it could be approved. Researchers say they will file a full response to the FDA by June.
