MedImmune drops Synagis partner, plans to hire 125
MedImmune has dropped Abbott Labs from a co-marketing deal for Synagis, a therapy for respiratory infections in infants, and will beef up its sales force by 125. The Gaithersburg, Maryland-based biotech says that the move should add significantly to earnings in 2007. MedImmune has been focusing a growing amount of its attention on pediatric drugs.
