Medicines Co. pays $45M to reacquire drug rights
The Medicines Company has agreed to pay $45 million to reacquire the European rights to the anticoagulant Angiox from Nycomed. Nycomed gets $20 million now, $20 million next year and $5 million on the approval of an expanded label. Annual sales of Angiox are projected to be $90 to $110 million by 2011.
