Lilly inks deal for Indian drug development
Nicholas Piramal India and Eli Lilly are touting a new drug development pact as a prototype for a new approach to clinical development. Nicholas Piramal will advance some of Lilly's preclinical drug candidates in clinical trials in exchange for up to $100 million in milestones and a share of the royalties. Lilly has been particularly busy in striking new collaborations with Indian companies.
