Ipsen pockets $90M in Reloxin deal

France's Ipsen is pocketing $90.1 million from Medicis for the rights to distribute Reloxin botulinum treatment in the U.S., Canada and Japan. And Medicis of Scottsdale, AZ will pay another $103 million in milestone payments if the drug is approved and marketed in the U.S. and Japan. Reloxin is viewed as a potential competitor to the popular Botox therapy.
