Fresh danger signs for Cox-2 inhibitors

Researchers at the American Heart Association's Dallas gathering have issued a new warning that Vioxx and Celebrex raise the risk of death among patients who have already survived a heart attack. Dr. Gunnar Gislason, a research fellow at Bispebjerg University Hospital in Copenhagen, said Cox-2 inhibitors should not be used by patients suffering heart disease.
