Drug researcher gives $105M gift for medical research

Jan Vilcek, an immigrant who would later head the research team that developed Remicade, is giving $105 million to the New York University School of Medicine, where he has worked for the past 40 years. The school, which will put the money to use in medical research, called it the largest gift it had ever received and probably the largest faculty gift of all time.
