Calando inks RNAi pact with Alnylam

Calando Pharmaceuticals has inked a deal to license an RNAi therapeutic from Alnylam. Calando--a division of Arrowhead Research--also got the acquisition rights to a second therapy. No financial details were disclosed, but Alnylam received an up front fee and a schedule of milestone payments in the deal.
