C&L: Osgood promoted to head ThermoGenesis

ThermoGenesis has promoted president and COO William Osgood to the CEO post. He replaces company founder Phil Coelho, who takes over as chief technology architect.

NovaDel Pharma announced Jan H. Egberts, M.D., has resigned as president and CEO and as a member of the board of directors. The NovaDel board has appointed Steven B. Ratoff, chairman of the board, to serve as interim president and CEO.

Merck has appointed Kenneth C. Frazier president of the global human health unit. Bruce N. Kuhlik will replace Frazier as general counsel.

Troubled Point Therapeutics has axed much of its executive staff. The biotech terminated the employment of Donald Kiepert, chairman and CEO; Richard Small, senior vice president and CFO; Michael Duffy, senior vice president and general counsel; and Barry Jones, PhD., senior vice president and CSO.
