C&L: Tarriff ousted from Par

Par Pharmaceuticals has booted Mark Auerbach and Scott Tarriff as executive chairman and as president and CFO. Patrick G. LePore has been named president and CEO and John D. Abernathy was named non-executive chairman. The switch came two months after the company reported accounting errors that sent its shares tumbling.

BioCryst CEO and Chairman Dr. Charles Bugg has announced plans to retire next year.
