NexMed has appointed Richard J. Berman, who has served on the board of directors since 2002, to serve as CEO.

Michael E. Hart has resigned as president, CEO and CFO of Allos Therapeutics.

Carl G. Fischer has joined MonoSol Rx as its CFO and treasurer.

Charles River Laboratories International has hired John C. Ho, M.D. as senior vice president, corporate strategy. 

XOMA has announced four senior management appointments: Robert (Bob) H. Gundel, Ph.D., vice president, scientific corporate development; Mary Haak-Frendscho, Ph.D., vice president, preclinical research and development; Mark White, vice president, cell and analytical development; and Paul Goodson, senior director, investor relations.

Pro-Pharmaceuticals has added Anatole Klyosov, Ph.D., D.Sc., to the senior management team as chief scientist.
