Q-Med AB has receives tender offer

The Board of Q-Med AB has received a tender offer from Ivytan AB ("Ivytan"), indirectly owned by EQT V ("EQT") and Lyftet Holding B.V. ("Lyftet"), one of Bengt Ågerup's ("Ågerup") controlled companies, for the acquisition of all shares in
Q-Med AB (publ) ("Q-Med") for 39 SEK cash per share. The shares in Q-Med are listed on NASDAQ OMX Stockholm AB ("OMX"), the Nordic List, Mid Cap.

Q-Med's Board was informed of the offer over the weekend. The Board will evaluate all aspects of Ivytan AB's offer and will make any decisions that the situation may require. In accordance with the provisions of the Guide to Public Takeovers, the Board will establish a committee of the independent members who will duly submit a recommendation to Q-Med's shareholders prior to the expiration of the time stipulated for acceptance.
