IndiPharm Appoints New VP of Sales and Marketing:  Expanding Global Sales and Marketing

Radnor, PA, USA and Mumbai, India - October 27, 2008 -- IndiPharm has appointed Robert R. Hughes as Vice President of Sales and Marketing to lead the company's global sales and marketing efforts.  He will be responsible for managing new and existing customers, while leveraging IndiPharm's business model to expand clinical research services and partnerships within the global biotechnology, pharmaceutical and medical device industries. 

Hughes brings to IndiPharm15 years of experience including senior sales management, direct sales and conducting comprehensive clinical trials across research phases I-IV.

Prior to IndiPharm, Hughes held various positions from 1996 to 2008 for Covance, Inc. in Conshohocken, PA.   He rose to Global Sales Director where his teams exceeded sales targets year over year.  Before assuming sales leadership positions, Hughes was directly involved in account management of biotechnology and top tier pharmaceutical clients.

Hughes began his career in clinical research in 1993 with positions at Corning Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. and Johnson & Johnson Company after receiving his degree in Biology from Delaware Valley College.
