The Cure Economy: Cell and Gene Therapy’s Make or Break Moment

ET
60 Minutes

Cell and gene therapy is moving from scientific promise to commercial execution, supported by increasing approvals, a more predictable regulatory environment, renewed investment, and expanding CDMO capacity and expertise. As the field advances in vivo delivery, next generation cell therapies, and iPSC-derived platforms, success increasingly depends not only on whether a therapy works, but whether it can be manufactured reliably, scaled efficiently, and delivered sustainably.

Join us to hear from our panel of experts as they unpack the real technical and operational challenges of advanced therapy development. We’ll exlore:

  • How vector-based, cell-based, and iPSC platforms stack on manufacturability
  • What facility design and capacity planning decisions actually move the needle
  • Where tech transfer and supply chain bottlenecks quietly derail timelines
  • What recent setbacks reveal about the limits of current manufacturing and process control
