Pathway Genomics pays $4M to settle kickback claims

Pathway Genomics has agreed to pay $4 million to settle a dispute with the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ). The genomic testing lab was accused of providing kickbacks to healthcare providers in return for patient referrals. In a statement to reveal the settlement, Pathway said it isn't admitting to any wrongdoing and "may debate some of the merits of the DOJ's allegations." Release | More
