CLC bio adds bioinformatics to $10M program

Danish bioinformatics outfit CLC bio has grabbed a $2 million share of a $10 million EU-funded grant program to developed systems to identify pathogens from clinical samples. The company will develop software for spotting pathogens, characterization of pathogen genes and other indicators. The University College London is leading the PATHSEEK program, in which researchers will examine the use of sequencing to identify pathogens and drug-resistant bugs. Item
