Vestagen Technical Textiles completed an $8.25 million financing to accelerate commercial development of its Vestex line of high-tech medical scrub uniforms and other protective clothing. The Orlando, FL-based company bills the product as part of "a new class of medical devices" designed to repel liquids and possess antimicrobial properties. New investor Advent Life Sciences led the round. Alliance Healthcare Investment Fund also participated along with original investor V-Ten Capital and private investors. Item
