Shire launches iPhone app for Gaucher disease

Shire has launched a new free iPhone application for patients with Gaucher disease. Shire says this is the first of several applications it would launch to support patients of rare diseases. The new Gaucher app can be downloaded from iTunes and can be used with both iPhones and iPads. The application can help monitor patients' symptoms and diagnostic results, gain access to case managers and manage treatment calendars. Report
