The Millennium Research Group estimates Europe's market for gastrointestinal endoscopy devices will grow to $1 billion by that time, representing slow, but steady, growth. One subset that may expand more quickly, however, according to Millennium: covered metal stents used to treat biliary strictures. Policies, such as those in the United Kingdom, will drive this trend, according to the report.
