nContact seeks $13M for surgical ablation device work

North Carolina medical device developer nContact has surpassed the halfway mark in its bid to raise $13 million. The company has reeled in $6.74 million so far, WRAL's TechWire reports, which means it has raised close to $50 million since its 2005 launch. Additional funding will likely help nContact further develop catheters and surgical ablation devices to treat atrial fibrillation and other arrhythmias. Story
