NBA, GE partner in multiyear deal to advance orthopedics and sports medicine

The National Basketball Association and GE Healthcare ($GE) have signed a multiyear deal to work together to advance the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions among NBA players. The pair will work to promote player health and wellness as well as to reduce injuries; additionally, they will work together to collaborate with additional NBA partners including Adidas, Kaiser Permanente, Nike and Under Armour. The partners will also fund clinical researchers working to study diagnostic and preventative techniques to identify risks for the development of orthopedic conditions. Release
