Masimo hit with patent lawsuit

Masimo is being sued by Essential Medical Devices for patent infringement over an analyzer of carbon monoxide in the blood stream. The lawsuit involves the Rainbow SET technology used in pulse oximetry monitors and names Masimo and Cercacor, formerly Masimo Laboratories, which Masimo spun off in 1998, as defendants. News
