Illumina ($ILMN) will develop a companion diagnostic test for Amgen's ($AMGN) Vectibix, a drug designed to treat metastatic colorectal cancer that has U.S. and EU approval. Plans call for pursuing premarket approval in the U.S. and regulatory sign-offs in other markets.
