Fierce 15 member Infraredx, a diagnostics company specializing in coronary artery disease, has made a deal with HealthTrust, a group purchasing organization. Through the purchasing agreement Infraredx's TVC Imaging System, a dual-modality intravascular imaging technology, will be offered to HealthTrust's member network of 1,400 acute care facilities.The TVC Imaging System provides real-time information to cardiologists about vessel structure and composition structure, as well as lipid core plaques that are known to cause stenting complications.
