Given's third-gen PillCam device heads to Japan

Given Imaging ($GIVN) gained Japanese regulatory clearance for a third-generation version of its PillCam SB endoscopy capsule. The Israeli company wins big with this approval, considering that Japan is the world's second-largest healthcare market. Doctors can use the PillCam SB 3 to detect and monitor gastrointestinal problems and diseases. Given's PillCam COLON also recently hit the Japanese market, and the SB 3 won the FDA's 510(k) clearance in early August. Release
