GE Healthcare ($GE) has bought Brazil's Omnimed, a producer of patient monitoring devices, part of the conglomerate's effort to increase its share of the Latin American market. Omnimed's technology is used in hospitals and clinics to keep tabs on patients' vitals during screenings, surgeries and intensive procedures, the company said. GE didn't disclose a sale price. Release
