FDA will make use of GVK biomarker database

GVK Biosciences will extend its Clinical Biomarker Database license to the FDA, which will use the collection to keep track of the latest information in the biomarker industry. The database, GOBIOM, contains information about 20,000 biomarkers, including biochemical, genomic, imaging, metabolite, cellular and physiological markers. By exploring the safety of such biomarkers with an emphasis on the potential for comparative analysis, the index is a tool that could be useful to the FDA. More
