Digital health venture funding tops $3B in 2014

The digital health third-quarter venture financing report was not too shabby, with steady growth over the second quarter and a total of $3 billion so far this year in funding. Investors are putting their money towards companies working on ways to improve patient outcomes and reduce overall costs. Digital therapies software and hardware, while not the largest funding category, had the highest growth rates during the third quarter. Unsurprisingly, California is still the place to be for the market--with 37% of digital health funding in that state. Report
