MultiClonal Therapeutics has been awarded a $750,000 grant to develop personalized therapies for chronic lung diseases like COPD. In a recent Nature article, the company founders describe their technology to capture the stem cells of the pancreas, liver, and kidney for regenerative medicine techniques to treat chronic diseases. The funding comes from Connecticut Innovations, and is a sign that the state is taking steps to enhance its med tech and life science sectors.
