CareFusion's revenue slips 2%

CareFusion ($CFN) grossed about $901 million in sales last quarter, a 2% decline due largely to slumping demand for the company's dispensing technologies and respiratory devices. Net income from continuing operations fell about 3.8% to $84 million thanks to a jump in selling expenses and a $41 million reserve CareFusion set aside to settle a federal investigation into how it marketed a clinical skin prep product.
