> CareDx, a molecular diagnostic company for heart transplant patients, announced Monday its offering of 3.1 million shares at a price range of $15 to $17 in hopes of raising $50 million. The IPO is expected to launch next week. Story

> Another IPO is expected to price this week for oncology company Microlin Bio, a diagnostic and therapeutics biotech, with plans to raise $28 million by offering 5.5 million shares at $4.50 to $5.5. It should be noted that the IPO was expected during the previous two weeks as well, only to be delayed due to an ongoing slump in investor demand for biotech IPOs. Story

> San Diego-based NuVasive ($NUVA) is opening an international operations center in Ireland this week. The company plans to create up to 30 highly skilled roles over the next few years. Story
