Bausch + Lomb snatches up ophthalmology laser startup

Bausch + Lomb said it will buy the remaining shares of ophthalmology laser company Technolas Perfect Vision, a company it initially established through a joint venture with 2010 Perfect Vision AG back in 2009. The maker of contact lenses and other eye-related products did not disclose financial terms. But both companies have a co-promotion deal dating back to September 2011. Bausch + Lomb said the sale will close by January 2013. Release
