OmniComm Systems® Acquires IRT Technology From ClinQuest

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL--(Marketwired - Feb 6, 2015) - OmniComm Systems, Inc. (OmniComm) (OTCQB: OMCM), a global leading provider of clinical data management technology, announces the acquisition of the interactive response technology (IRT) assets from ClinQuest, a leading global healthcare product development service provider. The solution will be branded as IRTMaster and will allow OmniComm to offer a completely integrated IRT and electronic data capture (EDC) solution, something that OmniComm clients have been requesting more frequently.
IRTMaster combines the benefits of an interactive web response (IWR) system and an interactive voice response (IVR) system to offer patient randomization, trial supply management (RTSM) and telephony based electronic patient reported outcomes (ePRO). The majority of Phase II and Phase III trials require subject randomization and related medication-supplies management, and IRT is the predominant solution for automating these processes.
With the combination of the TrialMaster EDC suite, the industry's most innovative EDC solution, and IRTMaster, site users can now easily randomize and dispense medication in real time through a simplified workflow, saving time and effort.
"Adding complementary technologies to our existing EDC offering will continue to be a strategy for OmniComm," said Stephen Johnson, president and chief operating officer at OmniComm Systems. "This is our fourth acquisition in the last 5 years. We are always looking out for new ways to offer innovative solutions to our clients that reduce their costs and improve their overall efficiency."
