Carestream Health has tapped KIKA Clinical Solutions for automation capabilities that it will use in six global clinical trials this year. The imaging systems provider will use KIKA's Veracity EDC platform and the Clinical Asset Management solution.
Carestream opted for KIKA's knowledge-transfer solution-delivery option, which will allow the imaging specialist to build and manage trials internally. Under this option, KIKA licenses and transfers its software to the customer. A professional services team works with the customer to build the first trial, customizing Veracity according to study needs. Customization options include imaging and online adjudication.
After the first trial set-up, the client company then takes over and builds subsequent trials. The knowledge-transfer solution-delivery option, for drugmakers who want to build and manage trials internally, contrasts with per-trial use of the system.
