Battlefield tech used for clinical trial ops

CoMotion Trials, a version of the Viz CoMotion software developed by military contractor General Dynamics for battlefield information sharing, is being demonstrated at the DIA show. Viz is part of General Dynamics C4 Systems.

Array BioPharma is currently using the software, the company says. Array has eight candidate drugs for inflammatory and metabolic diseases and cancer at the preclinical or later stages.

The software helps analysts and researchers visualize and share trial information by letting them embed, publish and distribute interactive visualizations into web pages for real-time collaboration.
