10X Genomics poaches David Jaffe from the Broad Institute

10X Genomics has lured David Jaffe away from the Broad Institute. Jaffe spent 15 years at Broad, during which time he developed methods for genome assembly and variant analysis. Now, Jaffe will work on computational methods to handle the Linked-Read data generated by 10X Genomics, which burst out of stealth mode earlier this year with a $55 million fundraising round.
