Leading U.K. banker rumored for Glaxo chairman post

As GlaxoSmithKline faces a slew of bribery accusations in China and other scandals bubbling in the Middle East and Europe, the British drugmaker is no doubt in need of new leadership. Sir Philip Hampton, the current chairman of the Royal Bank of Scotland and a former Vodafone CEO, is rumored to want to take on the role of chairman at the troubled drug giant. Hampton would take the place of GSK's ($GSK) Sir Christopher Gent, with an appointment likely coming up in the next few months. More
