Ophthalmic CRO Ora is inheriting a relationship with drugmaker Nicox after the French outfit agreed to buy Aciex Therapeutics, a Boston-based biotech at work on eye treatments. Under a longstanding relationship, Aciex and Ora developed a pipeline of treatments for ocular allergy, dry eye and other inflammatory conditions, and Nicox said it intends to keep the partnership in place when its cash and stock deal closes.
