What did the top CRO CEOs earn last year?

Have you ever wondered how much the heads of four of the world's largest contract research organizations make? An Outsourcing-Pharma report breaks down the 2011 salaries and bonuses of CEOs James Foster (Charles River), Joe Herring (Covance), Josef von Rickenbach (Parexel) and Peter Gray (Icon), by comparing each man's earnings to his company's operating income. Notably, the report shows how having preclinical assets at Covance and Charles River enabled Herring and Foster to earn $7.2 million and $5.5 million, respectively. Those earnings are noticably higher than what von Rickenbach and Gray made. Report
