Revenues in the quarter increased to
$253.9 million from$181.5 million in the same period last year, an increase of$72.4 million or 39.9 percent. Banner represented$54.6 million of the increase and therefore,Patheon standalone revenues grew 9.9 percent compared to the same period last year.

Gross profit in the quarter increased to
$57.0 million from$34.0 million in the same period last year, an increase of$23.0 million or 67.6 percent.

Adjusted EBITDA increased in the quarter to
$34.4 million from$16.5 million in the same period last year, an increase of$17.9 million .

Income from continuing operations in the quarter was
$0.1 million compared to a loss from continuing operations of$79.6 million in the same period last year. Improved operating performance in the current quarter and an impairment charge of$57.9 million in the same period last year contributed primarily to the year over year favorability.

Use of Non-GAAP Financial Measures
