The Washington Post has a follow-up to the ongoing travails of VaxGen's anthrax program. The report cites sources who say that the relationship between government officials and the company has becomes so contentious that the program's future is in doubt. Under its original contract, VaxGen was to start delivering anthrax vaccine by the end of this year. New revisions has pushed that back to 2008. The Bush Administration gave VaxGen the billion-dollar program to protect 25 million people from a potential bioterror attack.
