Systech Names Darryl Brown VP, Global Strategic Marketing

PRINCETON, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Systech International, a global leader in brand protection technologies, has appointed Darryl S. Brown vice president of global strategic marketing. Brown will focus on growing the company's brand and international marketing team.

"I can envision tremendous possibilities for growth here at Systech, and I know firsthand that they have an outstanding management team"

"As a consultant to our business since 2014, Darryl has brought tremendous value to the organization's rebranding and positioning effort," said Robert DeJean, CEO, Systech. "Darryl has an uncanny ability to understand the commercial value of a technical solution and establish an adaptive go-to-market strategy for it."

Under Brown's direction, the rapidly growing company recently rebranded globally and re-aligned its product suite, re-structured its marketing division and vigorously launched targeted campaigns in response to dynamic global market opportunities.

In 2014, the company experienced significant double-digit growth and a record number of new customer contracts. This year is also shaping up to be a high growth year due to expanded demand for its supply chain solutions that address the needs of enterprise serialization, track and trace, authentication and anti-counterfeiting.

Brown is a well-established, industry-recognized strategic marketing and product executive with more than 20 years of international B2B and B2B2C manufacturing supply chain security, cloud (XaaS), applications, hosting, security, communications, IP and IT experience.

DeJean noted that Brown is uniquely suited to the company's plans to further develop in key markets such as the US, Central Europe, Latin America and Asia, where the company already has a solid foothold.

Moreover, Brown will be developing and executing marketing strategies to expand the company's product suite into new markets that have a strong need for the company's brand protection and anti-counterfeiting solutions such as animal health, contract packaging, life sciences, food and beverage, and consumer products.

Prior to joining Systech as an executive, Brown consulted with the company under the auspices of his own consulting company, MyPropHead LLC. Most recently, he represented Appcore, LLC, a cloud automation software company (IaaS), as SVP sales, marketing and product management, reporting to the CEO. Appcore was recently sold to IBM.

In that capacity, under the direction of the leadership team, board and investors, he was charged to assist in driving Series B funding, expanding sales into service providers and enterprise IT as well as launching channel sales and executing global brand awareness.

"I can envision tremendous possibilities for growth here at Systech, and I know firsthand that they have an outstanding management team," said Brown. "This company invented serialization and is defining the future of authentication, brand protection and engagement.

"It's a very exciting time for us: We are at the forefront of solving and wining the fight against counterfeit products! "
