LEXINGTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Synta Pharmaceuticals Corp. (NASDAQ: SNTA), a biopharmaceutical company focused on discovering, developing, and commercializing small molecule drugs to treat severe medical conditions, today announced that it will release its second-quarter 2011 financial results before the market opens on Thursday, August 4, 2011.

Management will conduct a conference call at 10:00 a.m. (ET) that morning to review the Company's second-quarter financial results.
