Roche, Transgene ink $292M deal

Transgene will pick up an up-front payment of $17.4 million in a new collaboration pact with Roche covering TG 4001, a vaccine candidate for pre-cancerous cervical abnormalities. Another $13 million milestone is payable on certain conditions related to Phase III planning and $261.5 million in milestones are scheduled for sales and regulatory milestones. Roche gains the right to worldwide development and marketing.
