QPharma Appoints Senior Manager, Healthcare Compliance

Galdos to the position of Senior Manager, Healthcare Compliance. Galdos specializes in helping pharmaceutical, medical device, and other life sciences organizations establish and maintain full compliance with rules and guidance enacted by state and federal regulatory authorities, including the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

Galdos' expertise includes comprehensive knowledge of the Physician Payments Sunshine Act, which governs transparency concerning transfers of value from life sciences manufacturers to physicians and teaching hospitals. She also works with QPharma's clients to enhance their compliance with the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, and laws designed to prevent healthcare fraud and abuse. Before joining QPharma, Galdos served at Cegedim Relationship Management, providing consultation to the firm's clients on issues that included Sunshine Act compliance and regulatory compliance training. She also oversaw Compliance Department activities at Alpharma Pharmaceuticals. Galdos holds an M.S. in Information Systems from Pace University's Lubin School of Business and is currently enrolled at the Seton Hall School of Law.
