NanoBioNexus Amongst Circle of International Government and Industry Leaders Catalyzing Innovation

Non-profit NanoBioNexus (NBN), already widely acclaimed for its educational forums and nanobiotechnology expertise in the United States, has moved into the international leadership circles for innovative technologies with its International Alliance Initiative. San Diego, CA (PRWEB) October 11, 2007 -- Non-profit NanoBioNexus (NBN) --- already widely acclaimed for its educational forums and nanobiotechnology expertise in the United States, has moved into the international leadership circles for innovative technologies with its International Alliance Initiative. NBN secured an invitation to participate in Sweden's prestigious 2007 Entrepreneurial-Days (E-days) at four South Sweden cities of Kalmar, Kalskrona, Malmö and Vaxjö.

"Our maturing global outreach enables NBN to bridge business relations on behalf of our members and clients," said Adriana Vela, Founder and Chair of the team of NBN scientists and business professionals. "I'm thrilled to see the growth of our International Alliance Initiative and the respect our efforts are being accorded by international leaders as we bring together advances in biotech, nanotech, diagnostics, medical device and therapeutics," said Vela.

Vela recently met with international life science companies and toured LUND University, medical research institutes, start-up incubators and science parks. Vela's Sweden visit follows NBN's earlier strategic partnership with the San Diego's Swedish American Chamber of Commerce (SACC), www.sacc-usa.org . This partnership also echoes the many earlier invitations to present at nanobio conferences and meetings in Canada and Mexico and meet with other key industry international visiting trade delegations from Japan and Korea.

We are very pleased to enjoy the resources NBN brings to the wide network of 20 regional SACC organizations across the US," said Gunilla Girardo, President at SACC-USA. We are also thrilled that Adriana Vela has joined the Advisory Board for E-Days 2008 event being held in San Diego this year. This gathering is the most important business, trade and networking event fostering business relations between Sweden and the United States."

Global outreach has always been NBN's goal. Its International Alliance Initiative allows NBN to meet the unique needs of each region by creating a collaboration of partners abroad. This cooperation serves a precise and rapidly expanding global nanobiotechnology community via enriched educational programs and client services that offer access to experts and networks from many countries. A planned J-1 Visa Training Program for nanotech communities developed in partnership with SACC-USA is just one example. Additionally, partnerships with numerous organizations help to provide information about nanotechnology's scientific, business and humanitarian potential.

More information about the International Alliance Initiative will be available at an upcoming event on Oct 11, 2007, with speakers discussing Bionano Materials and Tissues. The event will be held at Morrison & Foerster in San Diego. On The Net: www.nanobionexus.org/events.aspx
