GTx Announces Proposed Public Offering of Common Stock

MEMPHIS, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- GTx, Inc. (Nasdaq: GTXI) today announced that it is offering to sell shares of its common stock in an underwritten public offering. GTx also expects to grant the underwriter a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 15% of the shares of common stock offered in the public offering to cover over-allotments, if any. All of the shares in the offering are to be sold by GTx. Lazard Capital Markets LLC is acting as sole book-running manager in the offering.
