Fovea Pharmaceuticals has completed €20.5 million ($25 million) in series A financing. The lead investor was Sofinnova Partners, with Abingworth Management (UK), The Wellcome Trust (UK), GIMV (Belgium) and Credit Agricole Private Equity (France) also participating. Fovea will invest the money into development of its experimental retinal disease treatment.
